Cucumber Celery Spinach Juice

Are you ready for this one?  This one for the hardcore juice fans out there who can handle a juice that isn’t sugar loaded.  This is a ‘Green Juice’ because it is made up of all green, chlorophyl rich fruits/veggies.  These three powerful and antioxidant loaded foods combine together to make a juice that is fairly low calorie, but absolutely packed with micronutrient goodness.  So round up these ingredients and give this one a shot!

Cucumber Celery Spinach Green Juice Recipe:

1 medium bunch of celery

Apple Cucumber Cabbage Juice

If you knew that cucumbers were great for fighting and preventing kidney, urinary tract, bladder, liver and pancreatic diseases, wouldn’t you eat more of them?  And if you were aware that cabbage could help eliminate/prevent constipation, stomach ulcers, skin disorders, prostate and heart diseases, you might look for a ways to eat more of it too!  Well how about making all that super easy with a delicious, nutritious juice!

Apple Cucumber Cabbage Juice Recipe:

2 large green apples (seeds removed)

1 medium cucumber (~ 6 in/15cm)

1/3 medium cabbage (4 c chopped)

 Juice It!

yields ~ .5 L juice (triple that for a monster appetite)

Apple Celery Cucumber Juice

October 14, 2011 By: fruitmonster Category: Juice Recipes

I think it is safe to say that I’m on a celery kick!  But who can blame me?  Celery is inexpensive, extremely healthy for you and is a whole heck of a lot better tasting juiced than straight out of the garden!  Plus the celery bunches I bought were the length of my arm and the width of my head!  Thats GINORMOUS!

Today’s juice is a slight permutation of the apple celery juice I posted two days ago.  Whats the new mix-up?  Add a cucumber!

Apple Celery Cucumber Juice Recipe:

2 large green apples (seeds removed)

1 medium cucumber (~ 6 in/15cm)

5 large celery stalks (< 12 in/30cm)

 Juice It!

yields ~ .5 L juice (double that for a monster appetite)

Plant Blood (Juice)

February 08, 2011 By: fruitmonster Category: Juice Recipes

Welcome to my fiance’s favorite juice!  No credit to me for this recipe, cause she’s the one who taught it to me!

Back to the beets and those juicy greens from my most recent apple-beet juice post; this recipe is called Plant Blood due to the deep rich purple color gleaned from the beets!  It’s a catchy term for one tasty juice.

Here’s the Plant Blood Recipe:

2 large/3 small apples

1/2 of a large beet with half of the attached greens

(3 leaves of kale/2-3 handfuls of spinach if you don’t have the beet greens!)

1 medium green vegetable:  I most commonly use cucumber, but you can get creative!

1/2 of a lemon (with the rind if it’s organic!)

The sweetness of the apples and the beets is a perfect compliment to the rich tastes of the leafy greens and that green veggie, finished off with a lemony-tang!
